As we dive headlong into an important election season, the stories we tell—of visibility, resistance, and quiet survival—become more crucial than ever. Writing Our Resistance is a two-part workshop that will guide you through the process of crafting stories of resilience and creating personal mythologies of care.
Join us as we explore how storytelling has helped generations survive in times of diaspora and dispossession, keeping us connected to our sovereignty and resistance.
Hosted by Radical Rest healer-facilitators Jessica Hua and Marisol Rascon, this workshop will:
- Show how stories of hardship fuel resistance and empowerment.
- Introduce concepts like invisibility and trickster narratives.
- Provide a safe, supportive space for reflection and writing.
Whether you're a seasoned writer or just beginning your journey, this workshop is designed to help you harness the power of storytelling for personal and communal growth.
