Outreach, Volunteer, & Human Rights Observer Opportunities
As we gear up for this year’s May Day Rally & March at the Oregon State Capitol, we’re calling on all unions, sister orgs, and community allies to join the May Day Brigade and help us build power for workers and immigrant justice!
There are three key ways to plug in and make an impact:
If you are still interested in signing up for a booth or sponsoring here is our landing page: Includes all event details, marketing materials and a place to register.
1. Join the May Day Brigade – Sign Up for Outreach
We’re asking organizations to sign up on our Mobilize page to choose a day that works best for them to conduct independent outreach in their communities. This is one of the most powerful ways to help spread the word and mobilize people for May Day.

2. Be a Human Rights Observer
We are also recruiting Human Rights Observers to help ensure the safety and dignity of all participants during the May Day Rally.
If your organization can support this important role, we invite you to connect with Sandra Hernández, Executive Director of LUS Youth, who will be leading a virtual training in preparation for the event.
To get involved or ask questions:

📅 Virtual Training: Tentative April 28th after 5pm.
3. Volunteer at the Rally
From water stations to march guides, we need community volunteers to help make this day a success. Everyone is welcome!
