What is this?
Trauma Informed Oregon is excited to offer Network members a four module training on foundational knowledge to trauma informed care in September. This training will include examples and scenarios specific to the disaster sector and experiences of disaster leaders of color. However, the training is designed to be applicable across work sectors.
This training will be facilitated by Christy da Rosa, LCSW who has been a long-term member of the DRLN and whose work focuses on the role of CBOs in disaster resilience building, and Steffannie Roaché, MS LPC, whose work focuses on anti-racist, trauma informed workforce wellbeing through representation and power-sharing within systems, and the promotion of resources that support healing for communities affected by racialized and historical forms of trauma.
