Join Community Leaders at the 2025 Public Health CBO Conference!
The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) invites community-based organizations (CBOs) to participate in a dynamic conference dedicated to advancing public health across our state.
Community In Action
Wednesday, April 23, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Join us at the Oregon Convention Center (777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97232)
Making the Conference Accessible:
- ASL interpretation provided
- Language interpretation available upon request
- Wheelchair-accessible venue
- Gender-neutral restroom
- Halal, vegan, and vegetarian food options available
If an accessibility companion will attend the conference with you, please register them as well. You’ll need to complete registration for both you and your companion to reserve your places and share any individual needs for the event.
NOTE: Everyone has a right to know about and use OHA programs and services. OHA provides free help. Some examples of the free help are caption, sign language and spoken language interpreters, written materials in other languages, braille, large print, audio, and other formats. If you need help or have questions, please contact Tien So at 971-244-2833, 771 TTY, or email at [email protected] at least 72 hours before needed.
Supporting Your Participation:
Great news for CBOs! If you're traveling 70+ miles to attend and your CBO isn’t currently funded through the Public Health Equity Grant, you may qualify for a hotel scholarship. Don't let distance be a barrier to your participation. Please contact Susan Adkins at [email protected] to see if you are eligible.
Food Provided:
The conference will include a light breakfast and a buffet-style lunch.
