RFP: Organizational Development Consultant with Coalición Fortaleza

Coalición Fortaleza is seeking a dynamic and experienced Organizational Development Consultant to collaborate with our board and leadership team. This partnership will empower us to elevate our strategic direction, strengthen our values-driven governance, enhance fundraising efforts, and cultivate transformational leadership. Our commitment to creating lasting, positive change calls for a consultant who is both passionate and skilled in guiding organizations toward greater impact and sustainability.

Project Scope:

1. Assessment and Needs Analysis:

Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our organizational climate through employee surveys, focus group interviews, and leadership evaluations. The goal is to uncover opportunities for growth, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and identify critical areas for development.

2. Leadership Development Program:

Design and implement a tailored leadership development program, centered on strategic thinking, decision-making, values-aligned governance, and coaching skills. This program will empower CF staff to lead with purpose, vision, and integrity, strengthening the foundation for our future success.

3. Board Management Strategy & Strategic Planning:

Create a cohesive board management strategy that facilitates the seamless implementation of organizational policies and ensures alignment with CF’s five-year plan. This strategy will support board members and leadership in working collaboratively to achieve our long-term goals.

Deliverables:

  • A detailed assessment report identifying key opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • A customized leadership development program curriculum and materials, designed to nurture both current and emerging leaders.
  • Engaging, hands-on team-building workshops, supported by post-session feedback and growth reports.
  • A comprehensive change management plan, with clear communication strategies for smooth transition and implementation.
  • A final evaluation report to measure the success and impact of the changes, with actionable outcomes for continuous growth.

Evaluation Criteria

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of proven success in implementing organizational development initiatives within similar sectors. Your experience should demonstrate your ability to inspire, challenge, and lead organizations through transformation.

Methodology:

Expertise in using a range of Organizational Development tools and methodologies (e.g., 360-degree feedback, appreciative inquiry, restorative circles, team dynamics assessments, nonviolent communication, etc.), tailored to our unique organizational context and values.

Consultant Expertise:

A seasoned team of organizational development professionals, equipped with both industry knowledge and exceptional communication skills, capable of navigating complex, values-driven environments.

Proposal Quality:

Your proposal should reflect a deep understanding of our mission, clearly outline your approach, and present a well-structured project plan, timeline, and budget breakdown. We value innovative, thoughtful approaches that reflect our commitment to equity, community, and solidarity.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in organizational development, with a strong focus on values-aligned governance, leadership development, and cultural transformation.
  • Expertise in designing and delivering impactful OD interventions that empower teams and individuals to thrive.
  • Strong analytical abilities to turn data insights into actionable, impactful strategies.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bilingual and bicultural experience is preferred.

Timeline:

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: March 15th, 2025
  • Selection of Vendor: We will be reviewing on a rolling basis. Post up until the position is filled.
  • Project Commencement: Negotiable
  • Project Completion: December 2025
